Similar to its predecessor Used Truth, Unreal Past is a home recorded album conceived quite quickly. Hesitating to call them demos because many of these songs have no other recorded version, a few of the songs -
"thread", "real sorrow" and "heybelly" ended up with a full band on the record "Send it across to me" and it's fun to hear the differences. This is Memory Boys at their most "bedroom New Wave, Lo-Fi," Lots of synthesizer, drum machine and acoustic guitar. Enjoy!
